It was hard enough finding a preschool that fit in with our schedule, our ideal of what a preschool should be about, and our monetary constraints. But then to think about who was really going to be spending all this time with my 2 ½ year old, how did I know she was going to be safe. I visited each of the schools, but did I really know these peoples' backgrounds, or the safety record of the school? I heard about Child Care Check and I had them check into the school that I was leaning towards, and they came out with flying colors. I signed her up that day, with confidence that I was making the right decision.

After my twins were born, I was faced with the difficult decision of who would watch them when I went back to work after 5 months. I was so scared to leave my babies with a stranger and I did not know where to start. It was an overwhelming process and with two babies, the last thing I had time to do was research daycares. I was given some referrals from my twins group, but wanted to know more about the places.  I had heard of people checking the backgrounds of nannies, but not daycares, until I found Child Care Check. I requested several reports so I could compare the recommendations I was given.  After I received my reports, it was an easy choice for me.  One report, in fact, was rather alarming.  I could not have been more pleased with this service and I could not be happier with the daycare I chose.  I know I will do the same when my twins are ready for nursery school.  I recommend all my friends check out their daycares and nursery schools before they leave their children with anyone.
